The Celebration at Miners Hill
The only residents remaining in the small town of Miners Hill are spirits. But no one really cares. Certainly not the residents of the town. And, especially today.
This is a special day for the residents. They celebrate who they were. The operative word being were. Because they are no longer. Ever since the mine collapsed; exploded actually, and the entire town went up in smoke.
But no one focuses on that dark episode today, or on any other day, in this town. They only focus on celebrating and honoring the extraordinary residents of this town.
So, come on. Join us in the fetivities. Time to celebrate and commemorate.

A memorial day celebrated by the actual people it’s remembering. Now that would be something to see!

I knew a town in PA whose mine has been on fire for, I guess, about 50 years now. I think Broadway just made a musical (sadly ironical) about it. Randy
