Friday Fictioneers – Rochelle Wisoff-Fields posts a pic to write a 100 word story about.
This week it’s: Humor, maybe not
God Takes His New Children on a Field Trip to His First Tree
Gather round, children. This tree was my experiment.
My first two offspring stood beneath this very tree, and though I told them not to eat its fruit, they did not listen. So I banished them
The fruit though gave them the power to either reflect my goodness throughout the world, or to use it for their own selfish ends.
Their ultimate actions were reflected in this tree by its either continuing to thrive or slowly dying.
So, here is my question, my children:
Judging from the way the tree looks, how would you say my first two children did?

I think your first two children screwed up. Look how the word progressed. A constant Cain and Abel battle going on. A really good story. I enjoyed.
I agree with you.
Thanks for your input.
God
A very creative story, well told. Our human failings make great material for fiction, don’t they?
and a lot of fun… don’t you think?
apple 1, humans 0 🙂
very good…
The sins of each generation imprinted in the gnarls and twist in his hide.
nice…
Hmmm, hard to tell if it’s dying or just starting to get leaves. Hope they don’t have to cover themselves with any of these leave, though. They’re mighty small!!

Dear Rabbi,
A very well told take on the prompt. How did His children turn out? Good question.
shalom,
Rochelle
Please write your response on the little slip of paper next to the wall as you leave.
Fold the paper, placing it in a crack in the wall, for Hashem to read.
😉 Works for me.
If that tree is anything to go by we are a lot of trouble! Nice take on the prompt Randy. 🙂
Thanks. Randy
Would you mind elaborating for the rest of the boys and girls in class about what you mean by “… we’re in a lot of trouble”.
God
Oh I like this – such a clever story!
thank you.
