A Weekend Quickie

So listen, we fly to Aruba for a quick weekend, plop down on the sand, and life is grand,

Except that now she’s back there in the sand sucking up Mojitos and laughing, and I’m up to my neck in the water wondering how the hell I’m going to get out.

And the reason why I’m wondering this is because I had a little too many Mojitos myself, and she bet me that I wouldn’t go into the ocean, drop my drawers, and throw them back to her. You know what she promised to give me if I did.

So, in I go, and off and out go those drawers. And now she’s hysterical, teasing me with that foxy face of hers, swinging those drawers over her head and slugging back even more Mojitos. And now I’m painfully watching the sunset, trying to figure out where I can find a palm frond to cover up my home boy, because I know she ain’t returning those drawers anytime soon.
