The world has become a world of others.
They are getting more than us. They are wasting our money.
They aren’t contributing.
The others.
The Others
We are the others;
you and me.
We: are the ones they want to roll over.
We: are the ones scrambling to make ends meet.
We: are the ones they want to keep unseen.
We: are the ones they beat down.
We: are the ones hoping better days will come.
We: are the ones who are too tired to fight back.
We: are the ones who lost the elections.
We: are the ones who lost the pensions.
We: are the ones who lost the jobs.
We: are the ones who lost the foods stamps and the houses.
We: are the ones without health insurance.
We: are the ones getting drug tested and part-time jobs.
We: are the ones without good schools.
We: are the ones who are too tired to fight back.
We: are the others, you and me.
We: are the shadows, the penciled silhouettes.
We: are an invisible nation.
We: are lost souls raising soulless children.
We: are the one who give up their future.
We: are the ones too tired to move.
Shame, shame on us.
And now it is over.

Excellent indictment of social diminishment for the convenience of, well, others. Nicely written and necessary. Keep up the good work.
nice of you to reach out from the shadows, another penciled silhouette I take it
