The words in the Book of Job hold as much truth today as ever, and always will….
Each week The Sunday Whirl invites writers to write a poem or short prose using some or all of the “Wordle’s” 12 words. This week it is:
Lesson for Today’s Type A’s
Listen, Einstein.
There’s a scheme to all this.
Dream of riches and rewards,
but here’s the bottom line:
I made the gold shine,
words to hold meaning,
easy breezes to cool,
and waters to transform.
I made you.
So let’s not go all extreme on me.
I also made the sands, the flowers,
the hills and the sky, so:
enjoy the present.
These are my gifts,
the objects of my breath,
full and trustworthy.
Otherwise, why would I have brought you forth.

Great Post
Thank you.
welcome
Well penned. I wonder what the great scientist would’ve thought. I’ve read he vacillated between agnosticism and atheism, but I’ve always had the impression he was also pretty humble.

I got the same impression although he might have penned the g=mc2 and you know what the g stands for….

Beautiful:
“These are my gifts,
the objects of my breath,
full and trustworthy.”
thank you.
and my words are his words, the objects of his breath…
enjoy this day..

He wasn’t a natural born A type was he – and yet he changed the world..if the atom had been split by a true A the world maybe in an even worse place (if i have understood your wonderful words in the way intended)
Calling someone an Einstein was an attempt at getting someone’s attention who thinks he is smarter than the rest of us, or smarter than he really is, like saying, listen genius.
There is a place for true geniuses, God bless them, we need them. But those who only seek wealth, especially at the expense of welfare, need to remember what living is all about. And it isn’t all about them.
Where were they when all this was created?
Just saying. Like it was said a long time ago. Not original with me.

What? More to life than riches? Drat! 🙂 I always enjoy seeing you Wordle away, Randy. Happy Monday.

Thank you, Janet. Happy Monday back at you.
I do like the pointing out of the scheme. Of course, many Einsteins tend to deny that such is more than ‘natural laws’, and that creation wasn’t created but just happened by accident, like.
