Don’t we all want to count, matter, make it all add up somehow…

COUNTING
I don’t want to write something timely;
I want it to be timeless.
Shameless of me, don’t you think?
Overreaching? Certainly.
But who of us doesn’t want to reach for the stars?
Or at least have our vote counted?
Randy Mazie
We all want our votes counted in all ways. On a political front, voting is a privilege and responsibility. Don’t vote=don’t complain. In other senses, at least be acknowledge for what we feel and respected, even if not agreed with. That’s something we can can and should do for others.

Sorry i took so long to respond, I was in the middle of a recount… LOL.
Thanks for responding.

🙂
I’m not sure I would equate voting with reaching for the stars. For me, it’s a bit like reaching into a garbage disposal, rooting around in the decaying matter, to try and find a lost gold ring. It most likely won’t happen, but you can hope.
Where’s the garbage can? I’ll help you find that lost gold ring.
My optimistic grandpa always said, where’s there’s horse manure, there must be a pony.

I’m reaching for the stars, but they get further and further away. Good one, Randy.
Oh good. And I thought it was me just falling further and further behind.
Nice to hear from you, purple.
Randy
Thanks, Randy, you too.
