From out of the waters, onto land….
Each week The Sunday Whirl invites writers to write a poem or short prose using some or all of the “Wordle’s” 12 words. This week it is:

Wordle’s words
A Deferential Specter of Beginning Life with a Laugh
Life began in a bridge,
a grain of a blade, a wisp,
of billowy breath, so thin,
that it peeled off an archaic fin.
Then shouldered red clay, and a gasp!
As new lungs filtered air in.
In a spin, barged on land with new feet,
locked straight, circumspected, reflected:
that Homo Erected seemed sweet!

I love the magic and flow in this – always good to enter our worlds with a little laugh
I agree. Randy
The entire history of evolution in nine lines — impressive!
Wow, I overreached here then, didn’t I?
Ha. Randy
I love the use of the words, but hate his conclusion! 🙂
(This relates to a comment which appears to have did-appeared.)

Well that raised a laugh amongst other things.
Well, that’s different!
