Things can end up being more significant than intended…
Each week Rochelle Wisoff-Fields posts a pic to write a 100 word story about.
This week it is:

The Course of History
I’m not going, Adam shrilled.
Ugh, Sad-man. Evelyn enticed, It’ll be fun
Three people disappeared there last week!
That was a freak storm. Evelyn swung her hair back.
You mean a freakin’ storm caused by THE FREAK at the end of the boardwalk!
Mad-man, there’s no freak. It’s a pyramid. Let’s see it.
I see it from here. Adam lowed, Remember Babel?
You think we’re reaching to God?
Something supernatural. I’m not going.
Suit yourself, Wad-man.
Take your Apple.
Very funny, Bad-man.
I meant your cell.
Sure… You’re staying, Adam?
Try not to change the course of history, Eve-girl.
Yeah, right.
Randy Mazie
Dear Randy,
This could just change the course of something. Adam and Evelyn. Has a nice ring to it…or is that the Apple ringing? My mother’s name was Evalyne. (spelled that way). Just thought you’d want to know. Great to see you here.
Shalom,
Rochelle
It was the Apple ringing. You are so intuitive.
And I love the spelling of your mother’s name.
Randy
A nice play with the Adam and Eve story
it wasn’t a play, it was a flash fiction piece.
The play is still in revision.
Thanks, Randy
It took me a while to see Adam, Eve and the Apple but I got there! Nice one.
That’s ok, Drali-man, the Ad-man understands.
I prefer it when something gradually dawns on me as I read 🙂
Clever take!
Thanks, and I must say that that was a clever remark on your part, too. 😉
Randy
That’s the kind of apple that will take a bite out of you when you let it.
rotten to the core…
i think i’m taking adam’s side here. he’s got the bigger brain. 🙂
Ha. Now comes the battle of the sexes.
I wonder who will take up that challenge.
Randy
An interesting take on the prompt. I love reading other peoples stories to see how similar or different they are.
I love the story, but not the people in it. They have a way to talk to each other. Very original take…
Something tells me they’re not in the original Garden of Eden anymore. Creative use of the prompt, Randy. Good writing. 🙂 — Suzanne
Enjoyable dialogue.
Nice to have you amongst us this week, Randy.
