Relationships are always in flux. People change. Things and ideas and desires come and go. Conflict is inevitable…
Each week The Sunday Whirl invites writers to write a poem or short prose using some or all of the “Wordle’s” 12 words. This week it is:

Wordle’s words
You and I
I’m having a start attack;
which speaks a volume of truth
about my yearning.
I am not still.
Being free moves me.
Like the sun, I rage
brilliant crispy yellow
across a cool blue distant sky.
Two elements in
constant contraposition.
I start, it stays.
It’s a phrase
we’re going through.

Oh, wow; this is all I need right here: “I’m having a start attack” … flipping brilliant!!!
Then this:
“Like the sun, I rage
brilliant crispy yellow
across a cool blue distant sky.”
… and the ending, “it’s just a phrase we’re going through”
Yay! So very well done. I love this. 🙂
Glad you loved it. I had fun writing it.
Means a lot to me to get such nice and specific comments.
Thanks,
Randy
This ends perfectly – lovely way to close it.
Thanks, Randy
