You’ve read cartoons. Well, now it’s time for Friday Fictioneers’ FRI-toons….
Each week Rochelle Wisoff-Fields posts a pic to write a 100 word story about.
This week it’s: Cliff and Beach Humor

© Sandra Crook
You mean to tell me he bought the house first, and then had the cliff moved here?
********************************************************************************************
It was supposed to be his Mount Rushmore, but he fell off the cliff while carving,
********************************************************************************************
You see that brown line on the side? The house was up at the top yesterday.
********************************************************************************************
Do you think the cliff blocks the view?
********************************************************************************************
I need to stop drinking. That cliff wasn’t here last night.
********************************************************************************************
I laugh at every high tide when that crazy man’s house is under water and he jumps into his boat for the next 12 hours.
********************************************************************************************
What street is this?
********************************************************************************************
I know the view is breath-taking, but does the house have wi-fi?
********************************************************************************************
He tells everyone that he named the house Cliff and they should drop over sometime.
********************************************************************************************
Do you think the cliff makes me look less?

Feel free to add your own FRI-toon captions below!!!!!!!
Just around the corner. My house is between Montgomery Cliff and Cliff Roberston.
Fun stuff, Randy.
Shalom and Happy Thanksgiving,
Rochelle
ooh. Good one.
Better than Perry’s Sally which was between Lay Down Sally and Mustang Sally.
Randy
I feel there should be a drum and cymbal at the end of each of those. Ba-dum tish!
Feel free. Do you play?
Randy
So nice to :-). Really enjoyed this.
I’m 😉 you did.
Got any ones to share?
I’m rubbish at jokes!
I feel battered!
Good piece.
Wait. Did you read my piece above or the piece about NFL players’ spouses?
What’s NFL?
No F**king Luck:
that’ll leave you battered.
Actually it’s the National Football League and there’s been a lot of press about players battering their significant others.
It’s the steroids that make them so aggressive (oops!).
really? 😉
He tells everyone that he named the house Cliff and they should drop over sometime.
That’s my favorite one.
You win what’s behind hill #3….
Woo hoo!
😉
Nicely done. I’d write you a congratulatory tune, but I can’t seem to find my treble cliff.
Treble cliff…. ooh, that could have been a sweet note.
Too funny. I read these through and thought that they were supposed to be a story. I thought that I had lost my mind trying to make cohesive sense of this.
Thank God I found the Cliff notes.
Tracey
Hahahaha.
I’m still laughing as i write this.
Randy
funny take. thanks for the chuckle
My chucking pleasure.
I think it rocks!
Ooh, good one.
Randy
Terrific. My two favorites are the one about Mt. Rushmore and the one that asks, “What street is this?” I could actually see some guy standing there, his eyes bugging out, and asking the question.
If you see him tell him his wife is looking for him…. she wants to know where he is.
Very punny. 🙂
Really?
I’m not good with puns.
I very interesting and fun take on the picture prompt. I enjoyed this.
Did you find Waldo in it?
I did not! I shall now have to scour the image until I do. 🙂
Do not scour too hard, lest you scour away everything, including Waldo.
But good luck in your quest..
“…and they should drop over sometime.” That’s the funniest one! I can’t top these because the jokes have hit a plateau!
That’s it!
I shall call it: the Chateau by the Plateau!!!!!
Perry – you are brilliant.
That house may be stuck between a rock and a hard place!
The rock rolled all the way to the edge…. seasonal cliffhanger!
good ones…..
it took me a few moments to visualize and “get” the concept of the “rock” and the “seasonal cliffhanger!” But now that I have, I appreciate its nuance and cleverness. Nice going.
Randy
I tried… Yours and the others’ were way better!
no competition here… just enjoyment.
Thanks,
Randy
I know…😄
O my……. Enjoyed.
O good. Me, too.
Randy
Good punches of humor, Randy. I didn’t realize there was that much humor in that picture. Well done. 🙂 — Suzanne
There’s humor everywhere – which I’m sure you know.
