Though He is with us even at roll call, He cannot rest easy…
Each week Rochelle Wisoff-Fields posts a pic to write a 100 word story about.
This week it’s a spiritual thing.

This is so different – and using the names of real heroes really sets up the ending.
Ellespeth
Thank you.
It was compelling for me.

Randy,
Superior writing and waking up to the Paris news made this especially poignant. If only the Gods could intervene in the wars fought in their names.
Be well,
Tracey
Frightening again for them, and for us in the rest of the world.
In one instant lives are lost for no reason, and everyone’s daily sense of security shattered.
This must stop.
Randy
This is great. Such a nice tribute and so much more. May peace one day be realized
From your lips to God’s ears.
Amen.
Randy
Powerful, ironic timing for this one, Randy. It seems especially prophetic after the events in Paris. The edge was there already, but sharper today. Nicely done!
Tragedy lurks thinly below the surface for all of us; our daily security instantly shattered.
Life is precious, but also tenuous.
There is no reasoning with ignominious and despicable terrorism.
Only, hopefully, a reckoning.
God bless Paris – and us all.
Randy
True, true words, Randy, and beautifuly said.
Are these actual heroes? What a great tribute to our service people despite showing how at the end of it all we are no closer to the War to End all Wars.
What can I say Perry…
We can only hope and pray – and maybe choose a course of action that will stop the insanity, for a while.
Randy
Very good Randy. I came here for a laugh but I got something so much more precious. Thank you.
It’s all so precious, isn’t it.
Laughter just helps it all along.
Randy
Yes.
It does.
Dear Randy,
All I can say is ‘amen.’ Where does it end? Beautiful peace of writing. (not a typo).
Shalom,
Rochelle
Where HaShem ends it.
Very well written, with an important message too. Isn’t it sad so many go to war hoping to bring peace only to find it still eludes the world.
Yes, yes, and yes.
Quel domage.
Tres triste.
My point exactly.
Randy
What can I comment that hasn’t alread been written? Great and creative piece, Randy. — Suzanne
Thanks for the comment. I know the feeling of what can i write that hasn’t already been said – but yet you want to leave the writer some note of appreciation or thank you or I was here.
So, now, I thank you.
