The problem with prayer
is we don’t want to do it.
The problem with prayer
is we don’t believe it’ll work.
The problem with prayer
is we think it should work each time we pray.
The problem with prayer
is if we pray only once, it probably won’t.
The problem with prayer
is we have to practice it.
The problem with prayer
is it usually takes time.
The problem with prayer
is wanting it to produce a miracle.
The problem with prayer
is that it usually doesn’t.
The problem with prayer
is that it isn’t magic.
The problem with prayer
is we don’t realize
that magic didn’t happen
the first time the magician
even tried it.
It had to be practiced.
The problem with people
is not believing
the magician practiced
to get the magic
to look like a miracle.
And that the practice of prayer
looks like a miracle
if we keep practicing.
Like magic.
