The World Eternal

Today, as the sun set,
the last appetites of daylight sated,
the endless emotional cravings tiring,
the jumbled irritations finally settling down,

the petty feuds, and lines crossed,
signals misread,
the points well taken, disclosed or not,
sounds heard, but misinterpreted,

The world beds down for the night;
All sharing in one thing we have in common:
Sleep, unlike death,
is flamboyant,

is blissful, is convoluted,
complex, is dreaming
of renewal, maybe hope,
ere another dawn

of
bickering.

    • All of us, Bill, people, companies, countries, ethnic groups, religions, regions.
sad, all very sad. And the average person just wants a decent life, some liberty, and a little happpiness.

I count the blessings that i have each day. Randy
