The Sunday Whirl invites writers to write a poem or short prose using some or all of the “wordle’s” 12 words. This week it is:
Shibboleths
Men of Faith, raptured
in Capes: Blind,
pray for the Hand of Intervention.
Men of Wrath, ruptured
in Mission: Blood,
abrade Fate by Armed Intercession
A simple rain washed
both from memory,
Clean, like Ghosts on a Ragged Hill,
Or, like a Candle Image cast
in a Church lit dimly,
I see the One who is there, now, and still
Randy Mazie
How well this piece reads.
Thank you. I try to smooth my lines as best I can.

Ghosts on a Ragged Hill..what a powerful image and line..maybe men of wrath and men of faith cross over in their sense of mission..thought provoking prose
