Sometimes it takes a kid to…
Lillie McFerrin posts a “Five Sentence Fiction” prompt.
This week it is: Angles
The Time Keeper
Twice a year, life was rough for him,
Daylight Savings Time was a bear.
With no windows to climb out of or ledge to tip toe along in order to reset the clock, the upward scaling and then rappelling over each roof and landing was beginning to be too much for him.
It was finally his grandson who said to him, “Grandpa, is there not some handle in the back of the clock that you could just turn to change the time?”
Grand kids… sometimes you can’t live without them, and then often times you really can’t live with them either.

Thank you.
Grandpa was a tough old bugger. Nice story!

Ha! Cute.
Ha. You, too!
Cute that is.
Leave it to the new generation to change things. lol. Very good.
Thanks. I hate when they send donkeys to school –
because they become wise asses.
Ha! I like this one.
Thanks for taking the time to let me know. Randy 😉
You really did look at the prompt from a different angle! Clever stuff, I love it. 🙂
