The Court: Wordle 95

Have you seen the fight. It is ages old. The duality of man. Greed versus Human Rights.

The Sunday Whirl invites writers to write a poem or short prose using some or all of the “wordle’s” 12 words.

This week’s words are:

from Wordle 95

from Wordle 95

The Court

The ball is in the open court.
The term begun,
The bottle spun.

The teams are readied to cavort.
The Coral Boardrooms
Vs. The Earth Mothers’ Wombs.

The field bathed in sullen light.
The mortal thread:
Life’s deathbed.

This incident, this age old fight,
Rare grain vs. dry pain.
Disdain against humane.

Come one. Come all.
