Friday Fictioneers – Rochelle Wisoff-Fields posts a pic to write a 100 word story about.
This week it’s:
The Android Family Enjoy Their Friday Dinner
Pyth, finish your dinner.
But, mom.
Pythian 2004.ad43, series y! You’d just better do as I say.
Better listen to your mother, Pyth, or you know what will happen.
But I’m full, dad!
Pyth, finish your microchips and stabilizer bars. Oh, and a few more bites of your neuron transmitters.
And then I can have dessert, mom?
Yes.
Yay. I love Friday’s.
Yes son, your mother and I know you do.
Mom makes the best multi-flavored lithium battery sticks around. Orange is great but I think I like the lime the best.
Just no more than two. I don’t want you overcharged.
Randy Mazie
I like it–very pithy/Pythy. Love your closing line.
thank you. No charge for the last line. In fact, I don’t overcharge either.
pithy? the neuron transmitters are a little pitty. So be careful eating those.
So clever! Nice one Randy.
Thank you Sandra. A nicely charged compliment.
Randy
Hahahahaha! That’s CUTE! Nice work.
Wasn’t much work at all for a droid. But thanks.
Dare I say I got a charge out of your story, Randy? So I’m transmitting my comments with a grin and a chortle. Zap! Good one this week.
Thanks.
Care for a snack of scrap metal?
Sure I need more iron in my diet.
how iron-ic!
I applaud your genius…this is brilliant. Very well done
Shared on twitter. Thanks
Thanks Boomie
wow…. genbiusu? bullriant? I’m gald you recugnised it along wit my gurate spehling and typping skills.
(seriously – how nice of you to write that, Boomie. You charge up my batteries)
Haha
oops.
Sorry Boomie.
I think I enjoy your comments as much as your stories, though I have to wonder where you come up with these ideas. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Shouldn’t you be doing something a bit more…, I don’t know…, important than giving us enjoyment once or twice a week? Maybe building a nuclear reactor or something?
I go nuclear (that’s nuke-lee-er a la a previous president) on alternate Saturdays as part of my community service writing program called the “INCREDIBLE FLASH FICTION” held at our local power plant. Potential writers are encouraged to bring their own atomizers and throw away coveralls. Wanna join us?
Remember that nuclear waste is an incredible thing to mind… it brings good things to light!
I’m smiling such a cute story.
I’m smiling such a nice comment.
Just don’t mix your lithium with a drink of water!
why? what do you get other than withium?
releases hydrogen which is very explosive. Boom
wow.
wait – are you talking to me or Boobiebol?
do we have a freudian slip “b” ? ( smile )
Hahahaha. I can’t stop laughing—– I am such a boobiebol!
Sorry Boomie if you read this.
It is hilarious though (to me) – Boomie might not be smiling though.
Good eyes, Will… I mean Jill.
Brandy
🙂
I don’t want you overcharged… Nice, Randy.
thanks.
You should have seen Pyth after Halloween.
Simply super Randy. Glad to know all will still be so much the same when the androids take over.
as the beatles sang,
“La, la, la, la-life goes on.”
Ha.
Randy
Brilliant
not too flashy?
Very cute use of the prompt. Funny stuff!
Thanks.
Hi Randy,
Creative and innovative take on the photo. Developed with excellent dialog. Apparently all famlies, even mechanical ones, have these dinnertime conversations! Ron
yes, they do
care for some leftover aluminum crispers or deviled beveled lips?
Another adorable story. I love the responses this prompt is GENERATING!!!
Thanks.
Sort of a “positive” reaction to a battery of desserts.
Ha.
Randy
That was great! I wanted to do something similar, but it wouldn’t come to me. You did wonderful. 😀
Thank you.
Call me next time… I’ll help it come to you.
Randy
over charged. nice.
Thanks, Rich.
No charge this time.
thanks
Dear Randy,
Zzzzzt! Fzzzzp! Craaaccckle! My circuits are overloaded with mirth. Lovely story of the probable future.

Hi Doug,
For what it’s mirth, my snap, crackle and pop have short-circuited, too.
Thanks and aloha back at you,
