MCGOVERN
George died today.
He was proper.
He stood for something.
He was passionate; he was compassionate.
He was right; he was courageous.
He was human.
God rest his soul.
May his memory and his life continue to inspire us…
And our children
May he rank among the great in our history books.
Though some wrote that he advocated “amnesty, abortion, and acid.”
He stood in opposition to an antinomian, a president, who advocated
“robbery, ruthlessness, remorselessness, and resignation.”

I voted for McGovern back then. I would vote for him today!
The song by Dion should now be Abraham, Martin, John and George (Hmmm. Getting to sound a little like a Beatles tribute)
