Anyone who wants to join in is welcome.
the picture prompt for this week is below:
I Am Your Comfort, Your Joy.
Nobody knows the pains that I suffer.
Tell me about your pains, amor.
Why do you always appear every time Iโm in pain or talk about pain?
I am your comfort, your joy.
And you always whisper in my ear.
See my full red lips?
Yes.
Kiss me and they will take away your pains.
Why kiss you when I donโt even know who you are.
You will know me fully after one soul giving kiss.
And my pains will be gone?
Mmm.
What is your name?
Dulcinea, but for you, mi amor, I am your Painacea.
Randy Mazie
I like the story, but I just don’t get the feeling she is a low maintenance kind of girl.
No pain – no gain
A great ‘take’ on this one, Randy; very clever… ๐
Smooth and sultry…. ๐ Wary and blunt… ๐
thanks. It was written painstakingly.
Randy
Well, the end result is so natural, it looks as though it was effortless… Well done…!
Thank you…isn’t that what we all strive for in all we do? grace.. making it all seem so…. Randy

[groans] Now where’s my punacea?
Dear Your Pun-gency,
Good one – your punacea is my pun-chline (my pun-gency)
Waiting for the punt, painfully
Pandy
I love how the beginning of her name changed from Ducl(e) to Pain. Ducle meaning sweet, at least according to Spanish. Good work and thanks for contributing this week!
– Ermisenda
Thanks. Dulce meaning sweet, and Pain-acea meaning without any pain (or a panacea).
Written with a certain pun-ache, I hope (wait, please read that as punache and not pun ache).
Randy
..not sure how much this poem fits the image…but it fits the image of pain!
How far can you push me?
Before I complain
Hit me and whip me
Physical pain
Tie me up
Pinch me and bite
All of this I love
I will not fight
Humiliate me
Iโll run and hide
Mental torture
I canโt abide
Stab my heart
Iโll runaway
No more hurt
No more play
ooooh….
Sadomasochism with a conscience.
BDSM with emotional respect.
Is there not a safeword that offers protection?
Or has the line been crossed too many times?
It’s easy to use a safeword for physical pain..but mental pain..sometimes it just drips through and causes the deeper scars..
Sorry. Ouch, I felt hurt as I read your words.
Forgive me for writing this, it is done with concern and love:
protect yourself emotionally always, seek help and solace, meditate and pray, continue to write, and remember
(he said wishing to add a little levity) as Dorothy Parker once said (paraphrased)-
“Never keep all your eggs in one bastard.”

Thank you for your words Randy. You make me smile !
sometimes the best we canb do is offer a lkittle comfort and a little laugh… ‘-)
and some editing before we push reply
well they do say ‘laughter is good for the soul’..not sure who they are that said it though!..However..”A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” (Proverbs 17:22, NIV).

Proverbs 15:30
A cheerful look brings joy to the heart,
and good news gives health to the bones.
Proverbs 2:11
Discretion will protect you,
and understanding will guard you.

faith hope and love
..well we have turned that around from BDSM to religion ๐
They’re not connected?
Let he who is without sin cast the first stoner…
Cheech and Chong, from the Ho-ley Smokers Bible
To me the connection would be spirituality. I am naturally a submissive person and have a caring, giving and forgiving nature. I don’t believe one has to have one or the other and I know I can seek comfort from both. .
I whole-heartedly agree.
Amen.
